El refugio es un bar musical situado en la Calle San Juan de Dios, número 5. Un lugar de tránsito muy próximo al Estadio Santiago Bernabéu y al Paseo de la Castellana. Una avenida bastante concurrida y con una gran cantidad de edificios públicos.
El refugio es un local estrecho separado en dos plantas y de diferentes funciones. En la planta baja de almacén, y en la planta primera de bar.
El objetivo del proyecto es potenciar su doble altura abriendo la fachada y colocando unas vidrieras, para aprovechar la luz natural y combinar el exterior con el interior generando, así, sinergias con el barrio.
El interior mantendrá el estilo de un refugio, con revestimientos de listones de madera de pino natural que destacará por una iluminación indirecta de Leds en color amarillo. A parte, se mantendrá la pared de piedra como prexistencia del anterior diseño del espacio. Todo, se combinará con paredes pintadas en un color neutro grisáceo, que se podrán colgar decoración.
Definitivamente, el refugio es un lugar pequeño donde perderse durante horas y disfrutar del buen rock clásico.

The refuge is a musical bar located in the San Juan de Dios Street, number 5. A transit point very close to the Paseo de la Castellana and Santiago Bernabéu stadium. A street quite crowded and a lot of public buildings.
The refuge is a separate narrow room on two floors and different functions. On the ground floor warehouse, and on the first floor of the bar.
The objective of the project is to promote its double-height opening the front and placing some stained glass, to take advantage of natural light and outside match the inside thereby, generating synergies with the district.
The interior will keep the styled retreat, with finishes of wood slats of natural pine that will highlight for indirect lighting with Leds in yellow. Besides, stone wall as the previous design of the space prexistencia will be maintained. All, will combine with walls painted in neutral gray color, which you can hang decoration.
The refuge is definitely a small place where you can get lost for hours and enjoy good classic rock.
